FINAL ASSIGNMENT
ASSIGNMENT BRIEF
In this assignment, student has to design a mini chalet at Taylor's lakeside campus using a set of orthographic drawings on A3 papers. The chalet is 8x8m and are designed for two person. Since we are under movement control, we can only measure the site using google maps. The mini chalet should include at least one bedroom, one bathroom, one living area, one kitchen, and one dining room. Each space has to include at least 3 different furniture and 2 openings. There will be 6 drawings in total, floor plan, roof plan+ site plan, 2 sections and eventually 2 elevations.
PROGRESS
This is my first sketch for this assignment. We started with the floor plan first so that we can proceed to other drawings referring to this floor plan.
Roof planning and learn how to indicate the arrows.

REFLECTION
Due to the experience gained from the past two assignments, my progress was faster and more precise this time. I enjoy doing this assignment because I have the chance the translate the drawing conventions that I have learned in the past into my own mini chalet. Nevertheless, I also have the opportunity to explore new symbols and drawing representations. However, comparing with the past two assignments, I can see a lot of improvement in myself, but also many mistakes because this drawings are more complex and have a lot of detailed to be focused on. I also learnt the basic structure of the roof and ceiling which is new for me in this assignment.
